I am a lover of languages, color, prints, playful graphic mixing, beautiful imperfections, tradition, and breaking tradition…

A child of sunny California, I was raised on the Westside between funky Venice and the small beach community of Santa Monica. I grew up curious and restless in a creative household. Always ready to leave and explore.

After graduating from business school at Syracuse University I immediately switched gears and moved to Europe. Design was the only thing on my mind. I learned Italian and attended the prestigious Accademia di Costume e di Moda in Rome.

Initially working for traditional high-fashion tailors and small Italian brands operating out of China, I found I was eager to hit the pavement of the bustling metropolis of NYC. I wanted to learn what makes a retail business thrive and how to combine great design with mass appeal. Spending the next decade in the corporate retail world, I gained experience in a range of product from sweaters and knits to sportswear, soft wovens, swimwear and accessories.

After crafting design at a small boutique tailor shop and working for large retailers, once back home in California I sought out mid-sized boutique brands. Working at this level allowed me to have a more hands-on approach working very closely on all aspects of the business, from sourcing and producing, to marketing and social endeavors, styling photoshoots and creating beautiful concepts and collections.

My design sense is a unique blend of European tradition, a graphic market-oriented New York City mindset, and a bohemian character from California. I embrace the creative without losing sight of the audience and the market, melding my initial education in business, strategic retail thinking with a fundamental understanding of the design process. I am grateful for this union between my creative and business sensibilities that always keeps me grounded and ever-seeking a more viable solution.
